Oyekunle attended the University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University both in Nigeria and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi in Ghana, and the University of Winnipeg, Manitoba. His favourite sport is Lawn Tennis. He’s also a clergy at a branch of The Redeemed Christian church of God in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
